Top Ten Victim List

To qualify for status on the Liberal or NDP Party “needy list” it is essential that you can be identified as a victim of something or someone. This holds true in all cases except one and I will hold that piece of information until the end of this column. The first and foremost group of victims are the black population who in fact were legitimate victims of bias and prejudice many decades ago. Today a large majority of blacks still see them as victims which, in fact is not true but it is a convenient myth that still helps keep the blacks on the Liberal side of the ledger. The second group of oppressed victims in our society, are women who face glass ceilings, male chauvinism, and constant pressure on their self esteem by the “Beauty and Cosmetic” industry. While there is always some truth in all of these claims it is much overrated and always blown out of proportion to reinforce their place within the victim society. Third on the list are the native Indians who have been kept in a constant welfare state by the Liberals who pack them away on reservations, give them a few bucks and exempt them from taxes. This helps keep them on the dole and always beholdin” to the Liberal master rather than requiring them to look after themselves and take their rightful place in society alongside the rest of us. To be a legitimate victim you must stir up guilt feelings within the Liberal heart and the Indians do this very well. The Gay crowd has moved into fourth place and have slowly increased their status over the years through the use of the media and particularly the courts where Liberal judges have rewritten the laws to include them as true victims of the unkind and homophobic majority of people in our nation. Fifth are the union members wherever they may be. Hard working blue collar folk who have been constantly taken advantage of by the Corporate assassins in their ivory towers. In the public sector it is the political leaders who can’t understand that street sweepers and parking lot attendants must be in the highest wage earner percentile in the nation if they are to ever to become non victims. Sixth are the poor and homeless who have no place to sleep, no job, no money and no desire to change any of these things. Yet the Liberal establishment has created an expensive and complex infrastructure to maintain the status quo and you shouldn’t have to make many guesses to get to the right answer, as to why? The seventh level of victimhood belongs to the other so-called minorities who, to qualify, have to be members of an ethnic group smaller in numbers than the majority and can come up with some examples of being treated badly by society. The eighth are the immigrants who come into the country illegally and profess to being harassed in their own country and are scared to return. While there certainly are some legitimate cases to be made for real refugees who are persecuted in their homeland the majority of these claims are false but every time one of them surfaces you see their faces on the front pages of the news with tears in their eyes praying to be rescued. The ninth on the victim list are the misguided youthful offenders who commit atrocious crimes but are never really responsible for them. Their parents usually have caused them some distress during their short lives and this has created the need to act out their hostilities on a shameful law abiding society who let it all happen to them. And finally the last and tenth sector of victims are the true victims. These are the people who have suffered at the hands of the offenders who break our laws. These are the people who should be at the top of the list however they don’t fit the part in the Liberal playbook because they don’t have a loud political voice and therefore cannot help the “Libs” gain and/or retain power. Other than the tenth victim their needs to be a something or a someone that the other nine have been victimized by. Can you guess?
