Conservatives in Hollywood

If I asked you to name the Liberals in Hollywood I bet you could rattle off a dozen names without thinking about for as much as a second. Even if you didn’t know for sure the chances are that you would get at least 90% correct because the majority of Thespians are liberal by nature. Some of them are the radical types like Sean Penn and Alec Baldwin who never waste a chance to take shots at their Country and their Government if a Conservative is in office. The Bill Mahers and the Jon Stewarts also love to skewer Conservatives every chance they get on the premise that they (Jon and Bill) are above the fray and are much more intelligent than the typical right wing thinkers. The truth of course is that this fine group of entertainers should stick to entertaining because they have little of value to contribute to the political process. They are so partisan that no matter the cause or the debate they immediately line up behind the radical left and march to the tune of the “Lib” ideology regardless of common sense or any other logic that might get in the way. Unfortunately the Conservatives in Hollywood tend to be like most other conservatives and choose not to toot their own horns very much. They have enough confidence in themselves not to require the adulation heaped upon them by the fawning media or their adoring fans. Consider a few of these people and then think back to whether you have ever heard them spout off involuntarily about Bill Clinton and his troop of merry leftists or Obama and his socialist generals. Sylvester Stallone, Tom Selleck, Kelsey Grammer, Kurt Russell, Clint Eastwood and Robert Duvall are all staunch conservatives that would never, ever trash their own Country, their President or their Military to make their points, unlike so many of the foul mouthed actors on the left. Some like Chuck Norris, Mel Gibson, Pat Boone and Gary Sinise are a little more outspoken but never in a manner that attacks people themselves but rather their policies and beliefs. Compare the women as well and you will notice a distinct difference between the “libs” and the conservatives. On the left we have the polite and soft spoken Rosie O’Donnell compared to the loud and obnoxious Angie Harmon. I almost choked making that joke. Then there is Whoppi Goldberg on the left opposing Heather Locklear on the right. The incredible Susan Sarandon the left wing actress up against Bo Derek the lady on the right. I could go on and on but if you think about these folks and what you usually hear spilling out of their mouths regarding political commentary you will quickly see the differences between them. The world of show business seems to bring out the left wing radicals and I believe that will never change but at least we can take some comfort in the fact that while they don’t foam at the mouth and spit on other people as a rule of thumb, there are still some logical and common sense thinkers in the world of TV and movies.
